Welcome to Service Buddy. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and policies that govern your use of our services. By booking or using our platform, you agree to follow the terms described below.

Our aim is to ensure a transparent, reliable, and professional experience for every customer while protecting both the user and the service provider.

1. Service Availability

Services are currently available in Berhampur, Odisha.
Future expansion will include Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Sambalpur, and additional cities.
Service Buddy reserves the right to accept, decline, or reschedule bookings based on technician availability and location.

2. Booking & Inspection Charges

A mandatory inspection/visiting charge is applicable if the customer chooses not to proceed with the service after diagnosis.
All inspection fees will be communicated clearly during booking.

3. Pricing & Extra Charges

Prices follow Service Buddy’s standard rate card.
Extra charges apply for services delivered after 8 PM.
Additional charge may apply for services on public holidays.
Spare parts, if required, will be billed separately.
Customers should confirm the estimated cost before the service begins.

4. Payment Terms

Payment Modes:

CashUPIBank Transfer

Conditions:

• Payments must be made only to verified Service Buddy professionals.
• Service Buddy is not responsible for payments made to unverified individuals.

5. Technician Policy

All technicians partnered with Service Buddy are skilled, trained, and verified professionals.
Any misconduct or unprofessional behaviour must be reported immediately.

6. Warranty Policy

All services include a 14-day service warranty from the date of completion.
Warranty applies only to the issue originally repaired and the same appliance.

Exclusions:

Physical damage after service
Customer misuse or mishandling
Damages due to electrical issues, old wiring, or hidden faults

7. Revisit Policy

A free revisit applies only if the issue reoccurs within the warranty period.
Revisit covers only the previously serviced issue.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation Charges

If a customer cancels after a technician has been assigned or dispatched, a cancellation fee will be charged.

Refund Eligibility

Technician did not visit
Service was not completed
Wrong or excess billing occurred

Refunds processed within reasonable time.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Provide a safe and accessible working environment.
Refrain from requesting unsafe or illegal tasks.
Ensure availability of electricity, water, and access to the appliance.
Provide accurate contact and location details.

10. Liability Limitations

• Pre-existing appliance issues
• Electrical wiring problems or voltage fluctuations
• Hidden internal faults discovered during service
• Damages caused by customer negligence or misuse

Note: Service Buddy functions as a service aggregator and is not liable for technician actions beyond defined policies.

11. Fraud & Misconduct

Customers must not offer unauthorized payments. Technicians must not demand extra charges. Fraudulent behavior may result in legal action.

12. Updates

Service Buddy may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance.
